Prof. Magdy Saeb received the BSEE. School of Engineering, Cairo University, in 1974, the MSEE, and Ph.D. Degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of California, Irvine, in 1981 and 1985, respectively.
He was with Kaiser Aerospace and Electronics, Irvine California, and The Atomic Energy Establishment, Anshas, Egypt. He is a professor emeritus & former head of the Department of Computer Engineering, Arab Academy of Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, Alexandria, Egypt. He was on leave working as a principal researcher in the Malaysian Institute of Microelectronic Systems (MIMOS). Now he is the CTO of Great Wall Information Security, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His current research interests include Cryptography, FPGA Implementations of Cryptography and Steganography Data Security Techniques, Encryption Processors, Mobile Agent Security. He holds five Intellectual Property Patents in the area of cryptography. He has published more than 70 technical peer-reviewed papers in the information security area.

Assistant Prof. Ahmad Ayoub
Ahmed Ayoub (IEEE member 2004) was born in Egypt, 1972. He got his Ph.D. in optical computing from the faculty of electrical engineering and informatics, Budapest University of technology and economics, Hungary, 2005. His MSc in biophysics engineering from the faculty of engineering, Cairo University, Egypt, 2000. His BScin computer engineering is from Banha high institute of technology,Egypt, 1994. His BSc in Physics is from the faculty of science, ZagazigUniversity, Egypt, 1997.He has 20 publications in optical wave computing and digital holographic microscopy and 3 patents in optical information security. He designed and taught 13 e-courses in computer science,computer engineering, and physics. He joined the analogic and neural systems laboratory, computer and automation research institute (SZTAKI) in Budapest, 2000-2008. Now he is a visiting assistant professor of computer science at King Saud University,Saudi Arabia. His recent research interests are image processing for melanoma diagnosis, digital holographic microscopy, target tracking and recognition, and optical information security.Dr. Ayoub had been awarded the best doctoral research work prize for Ph.D. students from the Hungarian academy of sciences, 2003.Also, he had been awarded the CNN young researcher contest, 7th IEEE international workshop on cellular neural networks and their applications Frankfurt, 2002.
Prof. Khamies ElShennawy
Dr. Khamies El-Shennawy is a Professor of Marine Communications in the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, Alexandria, Egypt. He is the President Assistant of the Academy for Technology Transfer. He holds, BS., Diploma of Higher Studies, MS. and Ph.D. he also earned a Diploma of Higher Studies in Radio Engineering from The Soviet Union. He was an Officer in The Egyptian Naval Forces. He is a member of the International Frequency Sensors Association as a project of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA). He is a senior IEEE. member and has published more than 90 reviewed technical papers in the area of communications and electronics. His publications are in the IEEE. transactions and other technical journals including IJCSCS. He is a reviewer and member of the technical committee of measurements and instrumentations TC-10 of the IEEE.
Prof. A. Baith Mohamed
Baith MOHAMED received the BSc. in Computer Science, Vienna University, MSc. and Ph.D. in Computer Science Vienna University in 1992. He is a Professor at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Computer Engineering Department. In addition, he holds the position of Vice Dean for Training and Community Services, College of Engineering and Technology (2010). He was the Director of Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, Latakia, Syria branch (2013). Now he is the President Councilor at the AASTMT in Alexandria Egypt. He is a visiting professor, Vienna University since 2016 until presently. His research interests include Computer and Network Security, Bioinformatics, Steganography, Cryptography, and Genetic Algorithms. He was also a member of an International project team in Europe, for design and implementation and maintenance of subsystems in the environment of peripheral processor controls as part of a larger Public Switched Systems (EWSD) in SIEMENS, AG. Austria. He was a scientific researcher in the department of Information Engineering, Seibersdorf Research Institute (Atomic Energy Agency) in Austria, for the design and implementation of security software system in the domain of railway automation project (VAX/VMS, DEC systems). He was also a member of software testing for distribution points in an international project in AEG, Vienna, Austria. Ahmed Hag Elsafi holds a BSc and a MSc of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Arab Academy for Science and Technology, 2002 and 2004 respectively. He has 15 years of research and industrial development experience in areas of embedded systems and machine learning, with over 10 year in the Oil & Gas industry. He has published more than eighteen papers in the areas of IOT security, biometrics, machine learning, and medical image processing. He is currently a co-founder and researcher at Smart Empower Innovation Labs Inc., a Canadian-based R&D consultancy specialized in fields of machine learning and embedded systems.
Mr. Hag-ElSafi is a member the Smart City Alliance in Alberta, Canada and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). He has also served as technical reviewer for Apress -Springer, NY,US.
